Bali Lee

Chair & Programme Director at Carbon at Risk, Founder of Climate Resilient Solutions

Bali Lee is the founder of Carbon at Risk and leads its coordination across academic research, industry engagement, and communications. Since establishing the initiative in 2023, she has built a working group of over 20 organisations spanning registries, financial institutions, insurers, and project developers, and secured philanthropic funding to develop the framework across five carbon removal pathways.

Before moving into climate, Bali co-founded a mental health startup, where she led stakeholder engagement and fundraising across a diverse range of partners. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Molecular Biology from the University of Manchester.
