Since September 2023, Bali has been coordinating the Carbon at Risk initiative. Driven by the belief that climate action requires every available solution, she built Carbon at Risk to incentivise urgent action with proven solutions while helping transition toward more robust methods for the future - focusing on understanding risk profiles and trade-offs to help determine optimal approaches at all levels.

Previously, Bali co-founded a mental health startup, where she secured stakeholder buy-in across diverse groups, managed scientific model development, and led fundraising efforts. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Molecular Biology from the University of Manchester. She now applies these cross-sector leadership and scientific skills to tackle the climate emergency.
